Nourishing Traditions book review

Just finished a book review; Nourishing Traditions by Author Sally Fallon. Details about food quality, proper preparation and why both are so important to our health. Here is one thing that stuck out to me.

Fact: Breast milk - Provides a higher proportion of cholesterol than almost any other food. Contains over 50% of its calories as fat, mostly saturated fats! The quality of breast milk does depend on the mother's diet and this is such great motivation for the mother to eat well. Moreover, consumption of hydrogenated oils decreases fat content in breast milk. Increased consumption of trans fats accumulate in breast milk which can lead to decreased visual acuity and learning difficulties in the infant. The benefits of breastfeeding are well established in the literature. Are we ever supposed to eat differently? The book has a recipe for "home made" breast milk for those you just can't breast feed. I'd like to compare the ingredients and nutritional value to the formula's on the market.
